Who am I?

My story is a perfect example of how God works in peoples' lives. At the age of 37 I decided to go to Holy Cross Seminary, but one year later, my doctor informed me that I have multiple sclerosis. The disease progressed aggressively at first and within 2 years I was wheelchair-bound. Though my faith was tested, I knew that my life's course was in God's hands. In 2001, friends encouraged me to make a painting and I found a talent I never knew he had. In the end, I signed that first painting with with the name my parents called me when I was young, "Stamos." My ancestry is from Chios, Greece, and because my illness prevents me from easily traveling, I decided to mostly paint scenes from around my beloved Greek islands. Through the years, I have won awards and have been featured in "Inside MS" magazine. I have 2 daughters one son-in-law and a grandson (little Stamos). I was born in Minneapolis and continue to reside in a suburb of Minneapolis with my wife Vickie.
